Made an appointment for MVH to run a seasonal diagnostic check on a new home (older) AC unit.  The appointment contact was friendly and the set up was easy. Jackson and his colleague attended the appointment and gave the system the all clear. After the evaluation, Jackson was completely honest about the unit, frank about the expectations/ life span of the unit and clear about a future path forward. Eventually , my AC will need replacing, it’s about 20 years old. At no time did the guys try to push additional sales or service on to us. They got stuck-in, cleaned up the old unit, made sure it was running to the best of its ability. MV will monitor the unit twice yearly to keep it running at an optimal rate for as long as possible. The bi annual service is very reasonable and offers piece-of-mind for the change of seasons. A really great overall experience. Professional guys, definitely worth a recommendation.

Adding to my original review as of July 24, 2026:  Again today I received excellent service for the inspection of my furnace and air conditioning system.  Fred arrived on time, performed the work with obvious conpetence and concern for quality, and he's a very pleasant person who is both helpful and considerate. I actually enjoyed his visit.  Additionally, the company has not increased prices in the last two years even though I'm aware that most companies have done so. For all of the above reasons, I signed another annual contract today. I highly recommend Maumee Valley Heating and Air Conditioning. My earlier review still on the site: Kyle Miller and Kenny repaired my nonfunctioning furnace.  They were a good team, were quite pleasant, and  performed the work well.  I was impressed by Kyle's competence and determination to solve the problem, and by both men's communication with me about their work. Pat and Tina, office staff who scheduled my appointment and called about an ordered part, also did their jobs well. My 28-year-old air conditioning unit died at the worst possible time--mid July during a heat wave. After looking for recommendations on Nextdoor and checking Google reviews, I called several HVAC companies for estimates. Spiros from Maumee Valley came out the next day, gave me a reasonable number, and promised to work us in as soon as he could.  I received one other quote for $2k more and then decided to go with Maumee Valley instead of waiting another few days for additional quotes. I signed the contract on a Thursday and Maumee Valley came out the following Monday after they had a cancellation.  I can't tell you how happy I was to see those two installation techs!  The job was handled efficiently and the air is back on less than a week after it went out. Other companies wouldn't even come out for a quote in less than a week and others were working several weeks out. In fact, the turnaround was so quick I told Spiros I wouldn't have the money from our investment account until Tuesday.  He agreed that I could come in and pay the bill on Tuesday, which I did, and received a 5% discount for paying cash.  So happy I found Maumee Valley!

I can't say enough about maumee valley hgting and air, from the start of making thee appointment,  great staff, great techs very knowledgeable in the business,  so impressed by the whole experience I signed a contract to take care of things by the seasonal changes. We have been experiencing problems with our heat pump and poor heat availability during low cold temperatures.  Today, the technician throughly reviewed and searched for the problems and the source of the problems.  He told us of the steps he was taking and the types of testing he was attempting throughout his work.  We are pleased with the service and looking forward to a warm house in the colder months. My furnace broke at 6 pm on a day when the temperature was 0 degrees. I called multiple service companies; however, none provided timely service. At 8:36 pm, I got a call from Maumee Valley Heating Company, who said he could schedule service for the next day from 8-10 am. I accepted and was very thankful for their timely response. The next day, two guys arrived at my house on time, were very nice, and worked carefully to look into the problem. They told me lots of technical details, step by step, and helped me understand how the furnace worked. Finally, they found the blower motor was burnt out and needed to be replaced.  They offered several options, and finally, the furnace was repaired. It was running excellently.  I appreciate their excellent service and very friendly communication.
